As an important part of the comprehensive course of practical activities, community service and social practice intently embody the basic cognitions about the reformation of curriculums. On the background of the reformation of curriculums, in this paper, the significance and value of the topic are expounded from the points of students' lifelong development, teachers' specialty maturity, the improvement in moral-character cultivation, and the formation of the school's features. The present state of community service and social practice is laid out; problems and perplexity are pointed out and experience is summed up, which provides some revelations on how to undertake community service and social practice for the fulfillment of carrying out the cognitions and improving quality education.
