The Practice And Reflection Of Social Work In Community Service

Abstract:With the deepening of the reform and social transformation in China, the role and status of the community and community service is more and more important, but the community service in China is at the exploration stage, there are many problems in practice and theory of the establishment and development of community service center. The standard and further research is needed. Due to the early start, the government strongly support, more and more social workers, the high social recognition and so on, shenzhen as the leading force in the community service career of our country, has its obvious advantages in its propulsion. Therefore researching the practical experience of social work in community service of Shen Zhen has its important guiding significance.This study is based on the consolidation of domestic and foreign literatures, the Shenzhen Q community service center is the research object. Based on the elderly, children, women, family and the disabled and other groups needs in the community, by case study, group work and community intervention activities,using the cognitive behavior theory, social learning theory and demand hierarchy theory, reviewed and reflected the activity plan and the specific implementation of the objectives, analysed the transformation of the service object and service effect, revealed the shortcomings and the insufficiency in practice of social work intervention in community service center. The research shows that the service funds are insufficient, social workers lack of practice experience and the rigid thinking of carrying out the service are the main problems. In the future, we can from expanding income by government support, organizing the training to improve social workers service ability, a clear positioning and strengthen the cooperation consciousness among sections to improve services, better meet the demand of community and residents, and promot community harmony.
