Status Quo And Countermeasure Study On Traditional Ethnic Physical Education Courses In Fujian High Institutions

Through literature,investigation,statistics and logical analysis,taking 15 general institutions for higher education in Fujian Province as research objects, this paper analyzes the current situation on the opening of traditional ethnic P.E curriculum.Then based on this,the essay also puts forward the popularization and development countermeasure on traditional ethnic P.E in the institutions of higher education,hoping to provide some experience and reference for the further development of traditional ethnic P.E.in general institutions of higher learning in Fujian Province.Findings indicates that the authorities of higher institutions,as the supporter of ethnic traditional ethnic P.E teaching,are encouraged to further change their minds,attach more importance on the traditional ethnic P.E education and greatly finance traditional ethnic P.E teaching.As the leading force of traditional ethnic P.E teaching,P.E teachers should consistently study theoretical knowledge,accumulate teaching practice and upgrade their own quality,whereas students should cooperate with teachers on P.E education and emphasize the study of traditional ethnic P.E course.In addition to the study of exact contents,the students should also develop their love for Chinese traditional culture.Under the situation of tight funds in higher institutions, popularization of traditional ethnic P.E activities will tremendously reduce the burden of the investment into the P.E education of higher institutions,thus economically and effectively alleviate the contradiction between the skyrocketing increase of the enrollment of college students and the limited P.E playgrounds and equipments.In order to form its own feature,higher institutions in Fujian Province should develop its traditional ethnic P.E combining its own local reality,periphery surroundings and teaching staffs.All colleges and universities should selectively develop some specific sport events for traditional ethnic P.E course in view of the interests and hobbies as well as its folk traditions.
