Comparative study of moral education began in the late80’s, as an moraleducation’s new discipline. Academic orientation is the theory and practice ofmoral education of different times, different countries or regions of thecomparative analysis, finding out the commonness and characteristics betweenthem and common law, thus revealing the development of moral education andgrasping the trend. The scope of the study is broad, with "cross time and space,comparison, combination, reference" etc.. It is the research for time, space ortopics and other dimensions of the Chinese moral education aim, process, mode,content, method, environment and evaluation, in order to make innovation inacademic research.In this paper, through modeling method, facing to the moral education ofChina and America in the content, method, environment, evaluation andcomprehensive aspect elements go on comparative study. Through the moraleducation model, compares the moral education of China and America, so as toprovide reference for the practice of moral education work in our country;through the moral education model innovation, blending method and thetraditional method, so as to provide a reference for the study of moral educationin China.From the content of moral education aspect, this paper studies the politicaltheory education,ideological and moral education and legal policy education inChina, and political ideas education, citizenship education and social norms ofreligious education in America. Through analysis, draws the correspondingreference: Adhere to the politics of moral education, strengthening theconstruction of moral law; attach equal importance to theory and practice,strengthening the construction of practical education; adhere to the moraleducation of nationality, to identity with personal future power values education; adhere to the integrity of the moral education, enhancing the level of constructioneducation. From the moral education method aspect, this paper studies Chinesemethods based on education function, the mode of education, combination ofeducation, and American methods, using J.Dewey, L.Kohlberg, L.Raths,A.Bandura and T.Lickona et al. Through analysis, draws corresponding reference:From two aspects of teacher’s status and role and moral education methodvalidity focuses, namely to strengthen teacher’s moral and professional qualities,to oppose the position of absolute authority of teachers, against the indoctrination,to pay attention to education dilemma method, attaching importance to students’moral level and pay attention to hidden curriculum function. From theenvironment of moral education aspect, this paper studies the Sino-Americaenvironmental theory and social and school environment construction. Throughanalysis, draws the corresponding reference: Adhere to Marxism environmenttheory, obtaining other theorists advantages; strengthen the environmentconstruction of moral education, enhancing internal and external consistency;strengthen moral education environment of investment, constructing cultural hardstrength. From the evaluation of moral education aspect, this paper discusses thegeneral theory, classification of evaluation and the evaluation method of Sino-American contemporary moral education. Through analysis, draws correspondingreference: China evaluation of moral education should put the moral educationeffect evaluation and student evaluation in a prominent position, and bring thepositive function of moral education from the tendency to practice managementeducation, and pay much attention to the moral emotion, will, faith and capacityfactors evaluation, and must overcome the subjectivity and utilitarian tendency.Finally, through comprehensive comparison, this paper stresses Sino-Americanmoral education’s effectiveness, universality and particularity respectively.Through analysis, draws the common development trends, namely, the unity ofsocial value and individual value, the integration of education and managementand service, the coexistence of development of internationalization andnationalization, removing the subjects boundary.
