At present, it's the hardest time for China in her transition of society. As china's transformation from a planned economy to a socialist market economy, the binding force of the traditional moral concept has becoming weaker and weaker, but the new moral concept which is geared to the marked economy has not formed yet. Given the new challenges of the moral education can not meet the needs of social development. The study of the moral education methods is becoming more and more important.This essay aims at comparing the main methods, feature and limitations of the moral education between China and western countries, summing up their identical and different points and deeply analyzing the reason of the differences, depending on the guide of fundamental theory of Marxism, following the principle of "regard man as foundation, emancipate the mind, thinking correspond to reality, advancing with times, initiation and innovation", according to the demand of "place me in the main position, absorb nourishment extensively, make use of foreign things for China, make use of ancient things for new". Finally in using the moral methods which are focus on the environmental education and psychological tutelage of the west countries for reference, I courageously introduced the concept of other subjects such as field, spiritual motivation and so on to the methods of moral education and created the educational methods of the moral education field which is marked with the feature of China.Only by comparing can one distinguish, only by distinguishing can one adopt, only by adopting can one optimize, only by optimizing can one develop and improve. The same goes to the method of moral education. Through the comparison of the identical and different aspect of the methods of moral under different cultural backgrounds of different societies, I analyzed their advantages and disadvantages, assimilated the essence and rejected the dross, used their experience of success and learned their lessons of failure. Obviously all of above mean too much to the reform and practice of our methods of moral education.
