Adolescent moral education is the main part of adolescent education in China. Nowadays,with the rapid development of social transformation and socialist moderation, the adolescentmoral education in our nation should also keep pace with the times. In order to response to therequirements of the new era, new breakthrough should be made not only in the contents ofadolescent moral education, but also in its methods. America has formed comparativelycomplete system based on the long-time theoretical development. Thus, studying the contentsand methods of American will be helpful to relevant studies in China. So, the major researchgoal is to get the heuristic conclusion through making comparison between the material andresearch results in comparison approach and documentary approach.In this thesis, through representing and analyzing the similarities and dissimilarities in thefield of adolescent moral education between China and America, the author tries to come upwith some constructive suggestions to refine the contents and broaden the methods in Chineseadolescent moral education.In addition, by strengthening the main role, the author also hopesthat the students could further express their subjective initiative with the help and guidance ofschool and social environment. In this way, a scientific and progressive adolescent moraleducation system could be well formed. The transformation of moral education contents andmethods is the key part which guarantees that Chinese adolescent moral education couldadvance with the time.Nowadays, the domestic research about American adolescent moral education mainlyfocuses on its history, as well as its development process. Considering this situation, theinnovation point of this thesis lies not only on the research about the contents and methods ofAmerican moral education, but also on the comparison study between China and America inthis field. In addition, according to the comparison and practical situation of China, this thesiswill also put forward some concrete and practical suggestions.
