There is a close relationship between the cultivation of college students' ability of self harmony and the earlier effect from their family background and education. The subject carries out the research by the test tables of self harmony, family background, controlling source of children's psychological education. The research indicates that the distribution of current condition of college students' self harmony is not in a balance, but the general level of it tends to be harmonious; not only the current level of college students' self harmony but also the extent to their self-adjust decrease compared with the normal condition; their self harmony conditions vary based on their basic features, such as sex, the numbers and the ranks of brothers and sisters, the level of education and professions of their parents. The effects of the factors that affect the self harmony to the students are different. For of students from different grades, there are no obvious differences in the none-harmony between themselves and their experience, selves' flexibility, total grades of harmony, but it is obvious in themselves hardness. For the students who are no than 20-year old, there are also no obvious differences in the none-harmony between themselves and their experience, selves' flexibility, total grades of harmony, and it is obvious in selves' hardness. According to the college students' preference to their majors, there are obvious differences in total grades of harmony and the none-harmony between themselves and their experience, and no such obvious differences in selves' flexibility and selves' hardness. College students' selves, harmony are closed to their family background intimately. The relation between their total grades of harmony and the conflicts of their family backgrounds is positive, but negative between it and the intimate degree, feeling expression, knowledge, entertainment, organization in their families. The relation between their none-harmony between themselves and their experience and the conflicts and control of their families is obviously positive. The relation between selves' flexibility and family background is positive. The relation between selves' hardness and the conflicts and independence in their families is positive, but negative between it and the intimate degree and organization in their families. College students' selves' harmony is closed to their family backgrounds intimately. The relation between the total grades of selves' harmony and family education effect, control of children, fate and opportunity, control of behavior, controlling source of children psychological education is positive. The relation between the none-harmony between themselves and their experience and family education effect, control of behavior, fate and opportunity, controlling source of children psychological education is positive. The relation between selves' hardness and family education effect, fate and opportunity, controlling source of children psychological education is positive. Family background is closed to controlling source of children psychological education intimately. The relation between the family intimate extent, success and organization and family education effect, children' control to their parents life, parents' control to their children's behavior, and controlling source of children psychological education is negative. The relation between family feeling expressions, entertainment, morality and religion, and parents' control to their children's behavior, the total grades of controlling source of children psychological education is negative. The relation between family conflict and family education effect, fate and opportunity, control of behavior, controlling source of children psychological education is positive. Self harmony, family background, and family education affect mutually. The factors affecting self harmony include latitudes of family background, factors of family education, and basic conditions of students differently. The main variations affecting self harmony include the intimate degree, entertainment, conflict, morality and religion, the total grades of controlling source of children psychological education, and their preference to their majors. The factors affecting family education include the intimate degree, conflict, organization, and their mother's education degree. Finally, the author suggests that the parent school should be established completely, its function should be developed fully, make the parents set up an all-aspect education belief; provide the students with social practice chances; create democratic and harmonious family environment actively to raise the effect of family education and enhance the level of college students' harmony.
