Education is an important way to achieve effective social mobility.Since China experienced the reform of higher education in 1999,human capital has gradually become a crucial factor influencing China's overall income distribution pattern and family inter generational mobility. In recent years, the education cost-sharing system has greatly compensated for the lack of public education finance, and family education expenditures have grown substantially. This paper attempts to use human capital theory and social stratification theory as research entry points,on the basis of predecessors' research findings and empirical research, from the perspective of family background, the influence of the mining behind it and its influence degree, from the angle of the government, school and family expenditure on education is conducive to children.First, this study collected a wide range of relevant domestic and foreign research literature, set up interview outlines based on literature review, and conducted in-depth interviews with 13 parents of different jobs and cultural backgrounds to understand current status and problems of family education expenditures of urban and rural residents in Shijiazhuang.A qualitative research method based on grounded theory was used to compile questionnaires on family education expenditures, and a survey was conducted on the family background and educational expenditures of senior high school students in Shijiazhuang.Questionnaires were collected 469 household survey data from different districts, counties, and rural areas in Shijiazhuang.Statistics on selective education expenditures, education expenditure structure, and parental background of urban and rural residents in Shijiazhuang are collected, through data statistical analysis software, and further discusses the influencing factors of family education expenditure. The survey examines the current status of family selective family education expenditure in senior high school students in Shijiazhuang in terms of expenditures for the purpose of improving academic achievement, expenses for the purpose of cultivating interest literacy, expenditures for the purpose of providing facilities for school attendance, and school choice fees. The study found that the expenditures for tutoring classes and tutoring fees were concentrated on low expenditure levels, while the expenditure on learning tool books was more even;the spending on cultural activities showed more obvious polarization;the expenditure on the provision of schooling convenience was due to greater autonomy and low expenditures. The number of people selected is high;nearly half of the parents have spent the school choice fee, which shows that school selection is very common, and the cost of choosing a school is generally very high.Through the analysis of differences,we found that from a cultural perspective, parents with a college degree or above have more expenses in tutoring classes, and fathers' education levels have a greater impact on tutoring fees;from a career point of view, the occupational types of mothers The impact on tutoring costs is even more pronounced.Parents whose career is managerial staff invest the most in the purchase of reference books for their children.Parents of managers with relatively higher occupations and parents of private business owners have special interests in studying with unemployed and unemployed parents. The level of expenditure is quite similar, and the fathers and mothers of enterprises, public service personnel, civil servants, and managerial personnel are spending more on cultural activities. From the perspective of family income, the father's income level has an even greater impact on the purchase of learning tools. In terms of spending preferences, mothers spend more on tutoring than fathers, and mothers tend to spend more on cultural activities and teacher communication.Parents at different family backgrounds also have different amounts of expenditure propensity.Through the impact analysis,it is found that the family background in high school has a significant impact on the expenditure on selective family education. Both parents' factors in the family background and the selective family education expenditure constitute a positive linear regression equation;the father's occupation type and monthly average income are in its entire. The dominant factors in the family background have significantly affected the selective family education expenditure. The dominant factors of the mother's occupational type in their entire familybackground have significantly affected the selective family education expenditure;the student's demographic variables were included in the regression model of family background influence. It is found that the gender of students is no longer a factor that affects family education expenditure. The idea of equality between men and women has become widespread, but only child and urban-rural differences are still factors that affect the decision-making of parental expenditure. The type of school management and student type also determine the choice of expenditure.According to the research results, combined with the current view of human capital theory and the concept of balanced development of education,it is recommended that parents should establish a correct view of education and carefully choose family education expenditures;schools should create a fair education environment and reduce family selective education spending;Provide more quality education resources and reduce the burden on family education expenditure.
