In the high-tech era with fierce competition and rapid development, the society notonly requires everyone adapting the nature to own profound knowledge, but also to be readyto adapt to the change, which depends on the degree of their psychological harmony to somecertain extent. The higher the level of psychological harmony is, the better we knowourselves and the society. Furthermore we could be calmer when encountering difficultiesand dealing with them. In China, psychologists pay more attention to the degree ofpsychological harmony, which gradually becomes a new direction of psychological research.As for undergraduates, their primary task is still learning. In the relatively independentlearning environment, full or empty learning depends on students’ academic emotions whichhave significant effect on their grades, capability and personal all-round development. Andboth have a significant effect on college students’ psychological harmony. In addition, thoughcollege students living in the campus have more opportunity to contact with society andfriends, they take little time to communicate with their parents. However, they have to rely onthe support of their family in learning as well as life. This produces a question that whatinfluence family would have on college students? In this paper, we will investigate therelation between family intimacy, academic emotion and psychological harmony of collegestudents to provide certain theoretical basis for training more outstanding, all-rounddevelopment college students.960college students from Hengshui College, Hebei Medical University, Hebei NormalUniversity were tested with the Family Intimate Degree Scale, Youth Academic MoodQuestionnaire, College Students’ Psychological Harmony Questionnaire. The data wereanalyzed by SPSS16.0, which included descriptive statistics, analysis of variance, correlationanalysis, and regression statistical methods. The main results obtained are as follows:1. The whole situation of college students’ family intimacy, academic emotion andpsychological harmony is relatively optimistic2. Except grade, the family intimacy of college students has significant differences ingender, whether they are the only child, family income, father and mother’s education degree.Beside in the grade, the family intimacy of college students has significant difference in gender, whether they are the only child in the family, family income, father and mother’seducation degree3. There were significant grade and gender differences on positive-high arousal emotions.And the grade, family income, parents’ education have significant impacts on thepositive-low arousal emotions. Different grade, family income, mother’s education madedifferent scores in negative-high arousal emotions, there were significant grade, gender,family income differences on the negative-low arousal emotions4. Psychological harmony in total has significant differences in grade, and only genderinfluences the interpersonal harmonious; in the fact that whether they are the only one child,only one child’s psychological harmony is significantly higher than the score who is not theonly children in the family; the higher the family income is, the more developed thepsychological harmony of college students becomes; the main effect of parents’ education tocollege students’ psychological harmonious is not significant, but the interaction betweenthem is significant5. There are significant correlation among college students’ family intimacy, academicemotion and psychological harmony. Family intimacy correlated positively with the generallevel of psychological harmony and the positive academic emotion, correlated negativelywith the negative emotions; the negative emotions correlated negatively with the generallevel of psychological harmony; positive academic emotion correlated positively with thegeneral level of psychological harmony6.
