"New senior Chinese Standard", which was promulgated by the national educational department, placed great emphasis on reading. "Read the passage correctly, fluently and emotionally with mandarin" is the first reading purpose of each academic period, which fully expounds the importance of the reading instruction. Reading helps raise students' oral expression ability, improve their concentration, imagination and memory, exalt their writing capacity, and ameliorate their intelligence and a larger input of literal materials. Thus, it's of great importance to improve students' Chinese reading ability in the practical Chinese instruction. Students in the dialectal area often have a lower reading capacity under the influence of dialect. Problems exist in pronunciation and emotion. However, it's quite difficult for the traditional Chinese reading instruction to find an effective solution to these problems.With the development of the information technology, utilizing multi-media technology to increase students' interests of reading practice, improve their intelligence, expression and language capacity becomes more and more important in the dialectal area Chinese reading instruction. This paper focuses on how to utilize the demonstrative function, an interactive process between students and computers, repeatable function of the multi-media technology basing on the reading requirements premises, which can dissolve, anchor, and stimulate the posture and movements of the articulator in the pronouncing process, improve the cooperative utilization of their eyes, hands, mouths, ears and brains by learning the response of computers, so as to correct their bad reading habits like confusions between even and volume tongue, between front and latter nasals, all the methods are used to meliorate their intonation. By using multi-media technology, teachers can stimulate sights, present reality, Pictures and voices to stimulate students'various organs, namely create an active, vivid, enjoyable reading situation to solve the emotional problems in Chinese reading instruction.
