Since the foundation of the new China, China's elementary education has made great progress; however, the overall level of elementary education still needs to be raised, and the previous elementary education can no longer meet the need of social development. The Ministry of Education has decided to greatly promote the curriculum reform of elementary education, adjust and reform the curriculum system, structure and content, and construct an entire new curriculum system of elementary education which gear to the requirements of quality education. The change of the curriculum of elementary education requires the corresponding adjustment and reform of the curriculum of teacher education, thus, only through improving the overall quality of teachers in primary schools and middle schools can the new requirements be met in the development.There have been rich theoretical researches and practices on the training and cultivation of P.E. teachers in primary schools and middle school in the background of new curriculum of elementary education. This thesis focuses on the curriculum of cultivating P.E. teachers, analyzes the current status and problems of curriculum of P.E. teacher education in the background of new curriculum of elementary education, and later brings forward some solutions to solve the current problems of curriculum of P.E. teacher education----realize the integration of the curriculum of P.E. teacher education.The research is divided into four parts. In the first part, the author elaborates on the course and feathers of the new round P.E. curriculum reform. After understanding the relationship between the P.E. curriculum reform and the curriculum reform of P.E. teacher education, the author analyzes the requirements of curriculum reform of P.E. teacher education in the curriculum reform of elementary education.In the second part, the author makes investigations on the current status of curriculum of P.E. teacher education of two periods, the per-service and the in-service, and analyzes it so as to disclose the gap between the current status and the requirements of the new curriculum of elementary education.In the third part, the author brings forward the new trend of the development of P.E. teacher education to realize the integration of curriculum of three periods. The author also make researches on the relevant conceptions of curriculum integration of P.E. teacher education, the feasibility and necessity of the realization of integration, the guiding ideas, goals and content, so as to construct a reasonable integrated curriculum system of P.E. teacher education.In the fourth part, the author elaborates some relevant problems of the curriculum development of P.E. teacher education, makes a prospect of the curriculum of P.E. teacher education and concludes some remaining problems of this research.
