Achievement motivation has come to be an important research topic on psychology as well as the core of the non-intelligence factors over recent years. And it has deep effect on personal actions or behaviors, together with their achievement. As the female status being elevated, the proportion of successful women gradually increased. In psychology, pedagogy and sociology, more and more scholars pay much attention to the study of this change, and the importance of the research on the relation between female achievement motivation and creativity become increasingly. By adopting questionnaires on 310 female students in vocational college, this research aimed at exploring the relationship between achievement motivation and creativity of them. The results showed as follows:1. Although the proportion of seeking-achievement motivation of female students was bigger than that of avoiding-failure, their overall achievement motivation level was not high.2. The students of low achievement motivation as well as those of high achievement motivation did not have the significant differences on the sum of creativity, but their significant differences existed in choosing and completing the difficult creative tasks according to varied extent.3. Female students of high achievement motivation did better in the more challenging and more difficult creative tasks than female students of low achievement motivation4. The correlation analyses showed that the total sum of achievement motivation and avoiding-failure motivation were correlated with the creativity significantly on female students. And, the avoiding-failure motivation significantly reacted on the high achievement motivation and low achievement motivation of the female students.5. When female students of low achievement motivation complete the creative tasks in their superior domain (e.g., fluency), they are also apt to more challenging and more difficult creative tasks.
