The Role And Status Research Of Education In Western China Economic Development

Being a developing country, China is characterized with vast land, a large population and imbalance of economic development between different parts of the country. Due to many influential factors in areas of history, nature, society and policy, the development in the western part of our country is far behind that of the east to some degree. Among the most crucial reasons is the human resources of that area with a large quantity but a relatively low quality. To make it more essential, it is the education, which is poorly concerned, scarcely investigated and improperly constructed, that to be blamed for the problem. Thus, as a resolution to the shortage of human resources, not only should badly needed staff for economic development be introduced into the western part, in the short-term, but also staff for sustainable development be cultivated in the long run.
