The consensus of propelling quality-oriented education effectively has brought about a new appearance to classroom of basic education in our country. On the other hand classroom instruction inevitably confronts with the everlasting subject which concerns with how to improve the life growth of the students to the greatest extent through the limited space-time of classroom., while the improvement should not be reached at the cost of aggravating student,s load. The practice of basic education reform directed by various educational concept makes valuable contributions to it. Based on all the achievements above, the thesis tries to reexamine classroom instruction from the perspective of student,s growth, put forward the fundamental view towards it based on life growth, inquire into the implication and mechanism of life growth in classroom, and then explore the essential features and practical strategies in order to provide a new perspective for the reform and practice of our basic education classroom.Classroom instruction must take the responsibility of improving life growth. But analyzed from student,s growth, classroom teaching of our current basic education is still hard to get rid of the following 4 perplexities: the obscure subject of life growth; where student,s life roots; how students achieve their growth; how life gives full play to his(her) potential energy. In connection with the 4 perplexities, rooted in the reality of our basic education classroom, the thesis tries to explore the realization mechanism and implement strategy of classroom teaching, which devote to improve the growth of student,s life.By tracing back to history, the thesis tries to find out the fountainhead of classroom instruction based on the life growth of the students: the naturalism teaching thought of Lao-tzu, typical representative of Taoist school in the pre-Qin period; the romantic naturalism teaching thought of Jean Jacques Rousseau; the empirical naturalism teaching thought of John Dewey; teaching thought of Carl Ranson Rogers, contemporary Occidental humanism psychologist and education reformer. The thesis makes historical analysis and cultural comparison for the purpose of seeking some useful ingredients, which are suitable to our present cultural soil in order to work jade with stones from other hills.The key to improve classroom instruction lies in profound understanding towards the internal mechanism of the life growth in classroom. while it involves many subjects, the thesis can only provide exploration as far as possible from the perspective of classroom. Knowledge is the most important resources for growth of life; students, lives achieve their growth through life activities in classroom. For convenience, the thesis classifies life activities in classroom to 3 types: activities which encounter knowledge, activities which students as subjects participate in and associative activities. The thesis elaborates respectively on the realization mechanism of the life growth through every type of activities.Seen from classroom instruction based on the life growth of the students, a student is an entire life individual who is always growing; knowledge embodies rich and lovely life meaning; teacher,s teaching should be dependent on student,s learning; classroom appraisal should aim at life growth.To improve the growth of students,lives, classroom teaching can start from the following 4 aspects: basing on students and giving free rein to students, subjectivity; establishing a growth-oriented goal which pours solicitude and love into the existence of students as entire lives; tapping the life meaning stored in knowledge and associating it with the lively ingredients in students, lives; providing a suitable ecological environment as life-giving spring breeze and rain in order to exert salutary and silent influence of education on the students.
