As a great deal of labor force in the countryside going out for work, a large quantity of left-behind children coming forth. Now, the left-behind children's problem has already been a hot topic to social public. The sticking point to left-behind children's problem is imperfection of family structure and lacking of relative affection. Because of separating from their parents for a long time, left-behind children are short of sensibility attaching. And it may easily cause emotional problem. Being a dynamical core of people, emotion can not only do well to one's physiology, but also can promote one's mental health. So properly treating and managing emotional problem is important toone's development.As the information-based ages of village arrived, people's way of life changed. It does not make an exception to left-behind children.Their way of emotion regulation changed too, from traditional way to informational way add traditional way. The informational way of emotion regulation has an important influence on left-behind children's physical and mental development. But now we haven't seen any research on left-behind children's informational way of emotion regulation yet.In this research, we follow the way of thought: analysis theories—develop tools—investigate a research—open out relation. We discuss the informational way of left-behind children's emotion regulation, using methods of Cronbach's Alpha, Literature summarize, Questionnaire investigation, Interview. Case study, Two-independent-samples test, Fredman test, Analyse of Variance and Linear Coefficients. In all, we get conclusions as below:1. There's a large quantity of left-behind children in the country. In the inquisition of all children, left-behind children have a comparison of three quarter. And the comparison of male left-behind children is larger than female ones. Collectively the number of left-behind children is increasing with age. From calends to senior high school of the second grade, the number of left-behind children presents a distributing of "N"(junior high school of the third grade is the nadir);2. Left-behind children's parents haven't noticed the importance of mental health to left-behind children. Most of them communicate with left-behind children one month and a half. Mostly, they go home every 4 years; 3. The purpose and media like of different children (left-behind children and common children) contacting with informational media are dissimilarity. Compare to common children, left-behind children have stronger motivation of using informational media and they like those informational media more, which are abundant of affection, vivid in detail, can express one's emotion and abreaction. But common children didn't show any differ on it;4. Informational media contact didn't show any dissimilarity to different kinds of emotion regulation (positive emotion regulation and negative emotion regulation). But it has different impact on different aspects of emotion regulation of left-behind children;5. Left-behind children's informational emotion regulation is related to one's informational literacy and character;6. The left-behind children's media like is different, they like to use informational media to regulate loneliness motion most of all;7. The left-behind children's informational emotion regulation have no relationship with media contact time and media like, so we can know that using informational media to regulating one's emotional problem can promote one's mental development.
