LU-Jiuyuan, who lived in 1139 to 1193, was the most famous philosopher and educator in South-Song dynasty. He initiated the School of Mind philosophy, and in his whole life he lectured more and cultivated many talents. His philosophy school was unique in his times, further more enlightened the YangMing philosophy school directly. There have been many scholars studied LU's thoughts in different perspectives deeply. Although the studies on LU's thoughts are propersy, the study on his teaching philosophy looks not so systematic. Based on the theoretical framework of Teaching Theory, this paper analyse and study his teaching thoughts systematically, generalize the basic feature of his teaching theory to reveal its modern value and find the philosophy which rich in modern significance to make use of it in today's teaching reform, further more to inherit and carry forward the traditional culture.The text is divided into five parts:The first part, Introduction. The theoretical and practical meaning of this paper is discussed, and also analyse the past studies on LU' philosophy to point out some study vacancies.The second part,making an analysis on the history background and its formation process. This writer thinks the cause of LU-Jiuyuan's teaching thoughts is the reflection of the complicated social conflict in South-Song dynasty, is the self-development of Confucian teaching philosophy in the mix of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism, which developed three periods: formation, further development and be maturedThe third part, a comprehensive exposition of LU's philosophy of teaching. The detailed content as followed: 1) the teaching purpose of Lighting Mind and Being a Good Man; 2) the teaching contents of Six Scripture, the Analects and the Mencius etc.; 3) systematic and dialectical teaching principles; 4) flexible and various teaching models and methods.The fourth part, discussing the basic features of LU-Jiuyuan's teaching thoughts based on the study above. The basic features are as following: 1)taking moral education first to think highly of it; 2) motive the subjctivity of students; 3) concern the emotional factors of students; 4) being innovation; 5) advacating simplity.The fifth part, discussing the practical significance of LU-Jiuyuan's teaching thoughts. That is 1) reconstruct the teaching model of moral education to promote its actual effect; 2) develop subjective teaching actively to cultivate students'subjective ability; 3) strengthen non-reasonality education to cultivate innovative talents.
