In the 5th Plenary Session of the Sixteenth Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, the"new rural construction of socialism"strategic objective was brought forward, which made citizens inspired with enthusiasm, and so did the academic circles about the peasants, agriculture and the rural."developing and producing, the peasants'living is ample, the village is clean and tidy, the customs are civilizations, the management is democracy", such prospect made people long for and yearn for it. But now in many rural areas, the new rural construction is hard to work well. Of course, there are many causes involved, including historical, realistic, objective and subjective reasons, a basic restraint among the factors is the bottleneck of the peasants'quality. Therefore, Improving the peasants'quality becomes more critical to the modern construction of our country during the new rural construction of socialism, which means that the rural construction of socialism should develop the rural educational function. It may be the effective and feasible approach to cultivate the new peasants, and It also may be the seeking of the new rural construction. Therefore, in terms of current situation, studying the question about rural education to serve for the new rural construction from the perspective of function is the aim of the article.The main body of this article is divided into four parts:Partâ… is the concept and theory: theory explanation and concept definition giving a brief description to the theory of rural education function to make a premise preparation for the subsequent research.
