Work values is an important part of life,it influences one's professional conduct, motivation, responsibility and devotion.Work values is a hot topic in international social science circles,and especially over the last 20 years it has attracted the attention of more social scientist, psychologists,and managers.They compare work values across the backdrop of different countries and cultures looking for the origing of social and economic development.This research uses solid methodology to explore the work values situation of university students in China and Vietnam and also sets out the basis for comparing the differences in the work values of the two countries in order to make some wholesome recommendations to the educators and businessmen of these countries.This research used Ling Wen Quan's work values scale to measure a total of 22 factors,including the three dimensions of health care,development,and working environment.It was necessary to carry out research with primary source Vietnamese language materials.In the data,the two countries'students valued health care equally as the most important factor,and working environment was likewise the third most important.There was a difference in views of work value in these two populations,the two countries are not the same.Finally an examination of the views on work value of the two country's university students revealed that Vietnamese students' views on work value averaged higher than Chinese students'.This research's originality lies in the fact that it uses a rigorous methodology to compare the views'university students'towards work value in two different countries with different cultures.After this such research will be able to use a myriad of factors to penetrate this question more deeply.
