The university teachers'job satisfaction is a kind of explainable affection and emotional reaction to their job, working treatment and working condition. It is very important to study the university teachers' job satisfaction, because it is closely related to teachers' physical and mental health, university management and the development of the society. The study on the university teachers' job satisfaction in Shandong province extends the scope of research on teachers' job satisfaction in this province. So this paper has a certain extent academic meaning.This study mainly focuses on the structure, status and influencing factors of university teachers' job satisfaction in Shandong province. The purpose is to make suggestions to the university management. The author takes use of the literature analytic method, the interview law, the questionnaire survey and so on. Being based on the previous literature search and the reality investigation, this paper works out the questionnaire for the university teachers' job satisfaction in Shandong province, which is tested by reliability and validity. By use of this questionnaire and EPQ-RSC, methods for random sampling by meeting the university teachers on the campus, the author takes back 205 valid questionnaires. After studying on the data, the author gets the following results:1. The degree of university s'job satisfaction in Shandong province contains seven dimensionalities: return of the job, stress of the job, leader and management, job itself, physical condition, group relationship and academia.2. In general, the degree of university teachers'job satisfaction in Shandong province is satisfying.3. The results of the study on the factors which influence university teachers' job satisfaction. (l)As for sex, male university teachers are less satisfied with job stress than female, but they are more satisfied with return of work, leader and management. (2)As for age, only university teachers elder than 51 are more satisfied with the total job satisfaction, work itself, return of work, leader and management than the others significantly. (3)As for academic titles, professors are more satisfied with work itself, return of work, leader and management than other academic titles. (4)As for marriage, single university teachers are more satisfied with the total satisfaction than the married. (5)As for education, the university teachers with bachelor degree are more satisfied with the total job satisfaction, leader and management, work press and academia than those with master degree. (6)As for graduation academy, there is no significant difference in university teachers graduated from normal college and others with the exception of work itself. (7)There is no obvious difference between university teachers with different specialties. (8)As for personality, extroverted and neutral university teachers are more satisfied with leader and management than introversive ones.Based on the above results, the author brings forward corresponding suggestions, and constructs diagram of improving the university teachers' job satisfaction in the whole course and the PDCA circle for increasing the university teachers'job satisfaction.
