Job satisfaction of the university teacher the attitude and appraisal to his own job's of all aspects, that is to say the degree of love to one's job. Turnover intention is the intention to leave from present job and look for the new opportunities. This paper takes the full-time university teachers as research object to discover the main components of job satisfaction of university teacher. This paper also intends to study the job satisfaction's differences in terms of several demographic varies and the relationship between job satisfaction and turnover intention. The purpose of it is to help the university governor set up reasonable measures and improve the management skills.The university teacher's job satisfaction scale this study used is based on the well known scale developed by a Taiwan professor named Chen Yunying. And then modified it by interviewing expert consultation factor analysis reliability test and validity. After such a modifying process, a job satisfaction scale composed five dimensions is formed. The turnover intention scale developed by professor Fan is adopted by this paper. In order to improve the fitness to the specific object, simple modification and reliability test are taken.The data for this study are collected from four representative universities of Dalian, including Dalian Universiy of Technology, Dalian Maritime University, Dongbei University of Finance & Ecnomics, Dalian University of Foreign Languages. 360 questionaires are handed out, and 330 effective sample are collected. According to the data collected and series of analysis, the study got a modified job satisfaction scale composed five dimensions. At the same time, some conclusions are listed as follows:The average job satisfaction level is quite high, except for one element of welfare and reward. The average turnover intention level is quite low, which is accord with the job satisfaction. The differences in terms of gender age rank and education experiences are significant, but not significant in work age. Also the study shows the five dimensions of job satisfaction are high related with turnover intention. In order to clear the influence between these two varies, regression analysis is conducted. The analytic result shows three dimensions are included in the regression equation and the coefficients are minus. It is clearly can be seen that job satisfaction has negative influence to turnover intention.
