Since Chinese had become an independent discipline, Chinese education has experienced education centered on knowledge and teacher, and education centered on student. Both of them are the sole subjectivity education. Students are able to get a lot of Chinese knowledge in Chinese education centering on knowledge and teacher and treating students as knowledge vessel, but their subjectivities disappear. Meanwhile, Chinese education centering on students pays attention to student's subjectivity but it overcompensates and emphasizes student's subjectivity so excessively that it makes students self-inflated. For quite a long time, Chinese education is trapped into the crisis-ridden dilemma because it has failed to hold its own essential characteristics and the goal of nurturing students. Chinese education, mother tongue education, must be carried on in speech act and human's communication. One of its important goals is making people adapt to changes and create life, and communication is human's main survival way, therefore Chinese education must be carried on in communication. Because Chinese education is unilateral subjectivity education in which students and teachers don't communicate with each other and go to the opposite way. This thesis attempts to find a better way for Chinese education--- Chinese education of inter-subjectivity. The author hopes that teachers, students and texts can form a harmonious relationship between them, get mutual improvement and realize the communal development through democratic and equal understanding and communication.Inter-subjectivity education is the source of inter-subjectivity Chinese education. Therefore, this paper introduces the inter-subjectivity education and relative concepts in detail at the very beginning, so that inter-subjectivity Chinese education can be understood better on basis of inter-subjectivity education. Then the thesis explains the reason why inter-subjectivity Chinese education is the pursuit of Chinese education. Finally, the author talks about the practical thinking of inter-subjectivity Chinese education by unifying examples. The thesis expects to make up some shortcomings in the contemporary Chinese education through inter-subjectivity Chinese education.
