There exists a close connection between thinking and Chinese teaching. Logic thinking is the basic form of thought. Just as any discipline cannot be separated with logic, Chinese also cannot be separated with logic. A student's ability of logic thinking directly influences his or her Chinese ability. Therefore, to develop students'logic thinking ability is not only the patent of mathematics, physics and chemistry. Chinese teaching should develop students'logic thinking ability.However, present Chinese teaching in middle schools emphasizes on developing students'thinking in images and creative thinking and ignores logical thinking. The Chinese teaching that lacks the training of logical thinking caused a series of ill effects, For example, when students read the text, they follow their feelings; their ability of turning words into the thought is limited; their expression is confusing; definition is not clear; their reasoning is incorrect; their expounding is not scientific; their language is not standard, etc. Therefore, I think Chinese teaching in middles schools should pay much attention to the developing of students'logical thinking. Because the content of Chinese teaching is abundant, the paper expounds how to develop students'logical thinking ability in writing teaching in middle schools from the aspect of writing teaching.Present writing teaching in middle schools is conducted according to following principle,"genre is latitude and writing process is longitude". First, texts in the textbook provide us with abundant model essays of different genres. During the process of learning, we should pay attention to the utilization of logical thinking.Second, we can divide the process of writing into three phases, i.e. accumulating phase in writing, operation phase in writing and rethinking phase in writing. In each phase and on each link, the developing of logical thinking should be emphasized. In a word, writing teaching is an important part in Chinese teaching. The developing students'ability of logical thinking in writing teaching will greatly improve their writing level and even their Chinese level.In addition, writing needs various thinking patterns. To emphasize the developing of students'ability of logical thinking in writing teaching is not to exclude other thinking patterns. Ability of thinking in images and creative thinking should be developed in coordination.
