After the middle of 20th century, the integrated science curriculum arose the attention of international science education domain. After the 80's, our integrated science curriculum also developed, and we had several curricular practice. The new foundational education curriculum reform increased the"science (grade 7-9)"curriculum and came into use in the autumn of 2001. This curriculum reform regarding the curriculum type's choice, suggests that it can choose the integrated curriculum only in the elementary school and the junior middle school, and a few experimental areas had established, but it still maintained the traditional subject curriculum in senior middle school. Then, what the characteristic of the articulation between"Science"curriculum in junior middle school and"Chemistry"curriculum( the compulsory module) in senior middle school? This paper will show the characteristic of the articulation between the two curriculums to the readers through the research on the curriculum idea, the curriculum goal, the curriculum content between"Science"curriculum in junior middle school and"Chemistry"curriculum( the compulsory module) in senior middle school. And simultaneously unified to some information got from the interviews with the students experienced the "Science" curriculum, the teachers taught the "Science" curriculum, the chemistry teachers in senior middle school, it will provide the beneficial suggestions for the smooth articulation between the integrated science curriculum in junior middle school and subject curriculum in the senior middle school.On the basis of the content standards of "Science" curriculum in junior middle school and"chemistry"curriculum (the compulsory module) in junior middle school ,this paper uses the method of the text analysis to conduct the research, simultaneously with some auxiliary information got from the interviews.There are four chapters in this paper :The first chapter illustrates origins of the research, then find the questions of it; simultaneously defines the concepts which concern this paper, then make the goal and the significance of the research clear.The second chapter introduces specifically the research method, and make it clear that the data of the text analysis is the content standards of "Science" curriculum in junior middle school and"chemistry"curriculum (the compulsory module) in junior middle school.The third chapter is the main body. Taken the curriculum content standard as the breakthrough point, it makes the characteristic of the articulation between the two curriculums clear through the research on the curriculum idea, the curriculum goal, the curriculum content between"Science"curriculum in junior middle school and"Chemistry"curriculum( the compulsory module) in senior middle school.The fourth chapter makes a summary according to the research. After got the results of the research, we summarizes the characteristic of the articulation between"Science"curriculum in junior middle school and"Chemistry"curriculum( the compulsory module) in senior middle school, and seek for the beneficial suggestions to the smooth articulation of the integrated curriculum.
