Current Situation, Problems And Solutions Of Health Education Of Compulsory Schools In Rural Areas

At present, the situation is such that countryside economy is developing steadily, and that peasants income is raised significantly. With the improvement of the living condition in the countryside, parents put more energy to the education of the next generation. As the number of only child is increased, parents attach great importance on children's intelligence while neglecting their mind and emotion. According to our country's education feature, students are supposed to have full and balance development. Therefore, health education is an essential method to better balance students development. And the health courses are devised to raise the awareness, establish healthy way of living, correct wrong behavior, build up noble personalities among students, thereby boosting the quality both physically and psychologically. Adolescent physical and psychological health can exert direct influence on the whole national quality and the further development of the cause of socialization and modernization. Efforts in the health education among compulsory schools can do a good deal to the publication of that among the countryside as a whole, and thereby helping parents and students better understand things about hygiene, improve the ability of protecting their health. It is significant for accelerating our countryside economy and social progress to learn and understand hygiene knowledge, to strengthen education and to fully raise the health awareness of teenagers. However, currently problems are many: the unscientific arrangement of the health education courses, lack of emphasis on the courses, dominance of traditional concept, impracticability of the course books, shortage of teachers, lack of variety in teaching and so on. It can't be emphasized more to strengthen health education among compulsory schools.
