Vocational school students keep their prominent individual differences. And individuality teaching in English is a matter under our close concern. On how to meet the needs of the vocational school students in English learning and improve teaching efficiency, based on years of English-teaching practice, the writer approaches the solution: level-teaching.This article consists of five chapters. Chapter One clarifies the significance and current situations of carrying out English level-teaching in vocational schools. Chapter Two relates both theoretical and practical evidences on level-teaching. Chapter Three states the three principles to obeyed. Chapter Four explains the procedures of English level-teaching in Wuhan Finance & Trade Vocational School and analyzes the effects of level-teaching. Lastly, Chapter Five draws a conclusion. It mainly concerns findings of this article and also problems existing in English level teaching.The unique feature of this article lies in that it attempts to set up a level-teaching model on English which appears applicable to the students of vocational schools. Also it makes a great effort to put forward a new evaluation mode---multiple evaluation, which enriches greatly the theory of level-teaching.
