The teaching evaluation is the course of studying the value of the teacher’s"teaching" and the students "learning", which is an important part of the Englishcurriculum.. The scientific evaluation system is the important guarantee to realize thecurriculum target. English Curriculum Standards(2011 Edition) pointed out thisrequirement clearly: “the evaluation of English curriculum should base on the objectivesand requirements of the curriculum standards, implement the effective monitoring of thewhole teaching process and results. Through the evaluation, the students can experiencethe progress and success in English learning, understand themselves better, buildconfidence, adjust learning strategies, promote the all-round development of students’ comprehensive ability of using language. " At the same time, English CurriculumStandards(2011 Edition) point out that the evaluation of English teaching should havemultivariate evaluation objectives, multivariate evaluation form and content andmultivariate evaluation aims. Evaluation should be people-oriented, make the asevaluation center, make full use of students’ subjective initiative; evaluation should payattention to students’ English comprehensive ability training; teachers should alsopay attention to the the development and change of students emotional attitude andvalues, learning strategy and other aspects; evaluation should combine the formativeassessment and termination evaluation together, not only focus on the learning results,but also value the learning process, make students grow and develop in the learningprocess.However, the current middle school English teaching evaluation still exist thefollowing problems: evaluation content is single, pay attention to learn knowledge,ignore the cultivation of English comprehensive ability, the development of students’ quality; the evaluation method is single, just the traditional pen and paper test, the scoreis everything, only use termination evaluation; evaluation objective is single, the teacheris in the core of the evaluation, students are still in the position of being evaluated, cannot develop the subjective initiative. How to realize the diversification of teachingevaluation is the focus of our present teaching evaluation research.In the light of the problems and shortcomings in English teaching evaluation, atfirst, English teachers should innovate "optimize evaluation methods, especially howto evaluate the students’ comprehensive language using ability” evaluation ideas, makethe teaching evaluation basic objectives and tasks clear, set up the main body status ofevaluation, construct evaluation methods flexibly, promote multiple teaching evaluationactively, especially innovate multiple dimension teaching evaluation mode of languageknowledge and skills. Secondly, We should not only pay attention to the students’ language knowledge and skills, but also the development of students’ comprehensivelanguage using ability, what’s important is that: we should value the students’ development and change of emotional attitude, values, learning strategies and otheraspects in the process of learning. We should not only care about the result, but alsocare about the learning process, make the learning process evaluation and learningoutcomes evaluation harmonious and unified. Also, teachers should recycle and analyzescientifically the evaluation results actively, get the feedback information of Englishteaching, reflect and adjust their own teaching behavior, and improve the level ofeducation and teaching constantly.Based on the present situation of English teaching evaluation,this paper takeGuyuan Hui Middle School as a case, according to the teaching practice, through classobservation, questionnaire survey, teachers and students interview, investigate theEnglish teaching evaluation implementation situation, analyze the research result, findout the problem,the writer puts forward teaching multi-evaluation implementation plan,according to the requirements of the curriculum standards and teaching conditions,revise and improve the implementation plan continuously in the process of using,make out English teaching multiple evaluation plan ultimately, in order to provide apositive reference for the improvement of English teaching evaluation.
