Cultivation Of Innovative Ability In Middle School Art Teaching

Innovation is the soul of a nation's progress and the power of a country's development. When think of education, we ought to think of this important issue. Innovative education is the kind of education based on fostering people's creativity spirit and ability. Innovation is the soul of a nation's progress. A nation without innovation is a nation without hope. The key of innovation lies on talents, and talents need to be cultivated. The present quality education at schools should pay special attention to the cultivation of students' innovative ability. The cultivation of student's innovative ability relies on classroom teaching, so the teaching methods play a critical role in the progress. Traditional teaching methods like "whole-house fill" and "spoon-fed" only lead to rigidity of students' thinking, let alone innovation. Thus the cultivation of student's innovative ability should be realized through certain teaching methods. In this sense, teachers should keep on creating new teaching methods to improve the students' innovative ability. I believe that students' leading role be emphasized and their activity and imagination be encouraged thus they participate more in teaching, at the same time the teaching would be more attractive.
