Jiang Kongyang is one of the important aesthetes and one of the representatives of practical aesthetics in contemporary C hina. His aesthetic theory with the aesthetic relationship as the starting point, with practice- creation as the core, with realizing the all-round development of human beings as the aim, is called uniquely " life aesthetics with freedom to create ". His aesthetic thought and aesthetic education theory is an organic unity. The dissertation will have a systematic carding and deep discussion for his aesthetic education theory from aesthetic education ontology view, aesthetic education subject view, aesthetic education realm view,and reveal the realistic value and significance in the future of his aesthetic education theory.The dissertation is made up of introduction, main body and conclusion. The introduction part introduces the present domestic and overseas condition,the basis of selecting the title, innovations and research methods. The dissertation has been incorporated by three chapters to concentrate on incorporated ’s aesthetic education thought.The first chapter bases on the "practice" category,discusses the " aesthetic life" thought based on man’s labor –practice,with the implementation of aesthetic existence as the ultimate ideal of the " aesthetic life". The second chapter inspects his aesthetic personality theory from the double views of the influence of C hinese traditional aesthetic education and the modern western aesthetic education, namely on the one hand, the pursuit for the traditional ideal personality of the Confucian’s "entering the world " and the Taoist’s " jumping out of the world", on the other hand the acceptance and development of complete personality theory in western modern aesthetic education. The third chapter suggests that the highest state will be located in "art creation",and expounds the aesthetic education function of the external literature artistic image and poetic painting conception,and the aesthetic feeling function of the construction of artistic feeling world, establishes the aim of creating artistic life in the aesthetic education practice. Conclusion reiterated the historical significance of his aesthetic education thought and make an objective assessment of views on it.Jiang Kongyang has a unique status in C hinese contemporary aesthetic academia with the "practice- creation" aesthetics. This gives the aesthetic education thought creative kernel and characteristics,which makes "creation" throughout the aestheticization of life,complete personality and creating artistic life,and no more fit contemporary aesthetic education spirits of individual self-creativity and overall-development than it.This provides the present personality development and human existence dilemma valuable theoretical guidance.
