Compared with the ethical education theory before this, the new character education possesses the characteristics of the new one. It is one kind in a great deal of implementation plan of the U.S.A.'s new character education to nourish and cherish character in the situation. In terms of situation studying character education have already absorbed the method advantage of the form moral education that lays particular emphasis on the situation and the course , and have insisted the idea of character educates that pay more attention to educational content and educational purpose, which accomplished the integration and optimization of the moral purpose, content and method of the moral education.Accumulate the abundant situation mode to cultivate character in U.S.A.'s new character educational practice, The moral guidance in life incident, the moral intelligence in the interdynamic group, the instruction way under the media environment,which all appear the characteristic of the scientific nature and the artistry, bootstraping and createing the natural disposition. Every kind of mode has reflected the subjectivity interaction betweent the educator and the learner in the situation.The new character education is the criticism and inherition from the moral education in American history before this, especially compared with the traditional character education and the form moral education, no matter from the educational idea or on the method tactics, the new character education demonstrating the succession and creative side .
