It emphasizes the use of different learning technology on different occasions, in order to achieve a maximum efficiency with a minimum price. As BL organically integrates the two typical forms of learning---face-to-face learning and on-line learning, the construction of learning environment with appropriate technologies is the significant guarantee for the effective implementation of Blend Learning.Diigo is an emerging social software developed with Web 2.0 as the platform. It is endowed with the powerful functions of online bookmark, e-tagging, group forum, resource searching. Besides, it is easy to operate and it is conducive to create a learning environment for the cooperation and interaction between teacher and students. The author of this paper tries to apply Diigo into teaching and study the application methods and modes of BL in Educational Technology Commonality Course teaching. The whole paper is divided into six chapters.Chapter One outlines the background of this research, its significance as well as the content and methodology involved and to define the relevant terms.Chapter Two briefly analyzes the related research status at home and abroad.Chapter Three introduces the essence and the general process of instructional design of Blended Learning, explores the basic functions and features of Diigo, and discusses its role in specific teaching.Chapter Four states the instructional design of Blended Learning based on Diigo in its application in Educational Technology Common course.Chapter Five conducts the practice of Blended Learning based on Diigo, which is on the basis of the instructional design in the previous chapter and inspects the effects of Diigo in public course teaching through the data gained from questionnaire and interviews.Chapter Six summarizes the viewpoints of the whole paper and points out the existing problems in actual teaching as well as the limitations of this research and prospects for the future work.
