As a tool of professional curriculum, professional English for Educational Technology> can promote learners’original profcssional English literature reading and understanding ability enhancement, enhance their skills for the latest information, And through the master this latest professional theory knowledge and professional technology, consolidated professional accomplishment, promote learning and development of education technology professional. however, the traditional teaching methods of professional English for Educational Technology> exist many unreasonable deficiencies such as learners learning goals are not clear, learning enthusiasm is not high, obsolete teaching form, evaluation and assessment methods, which make the teaching effect is not ideal, can mot reach the final preset goals. With the advent of higher education informationization tide, teaching mode, content and form are seeking innovation, blended learning gets more and more attention because of combining the advantages of traditional classroom teaching and network learning. This study intends to apply blended learning to promote the professional English for Educational Technology> teaching, in order to Promote the innovation of the teaching mode and improve the teaching efficiency and effect of professional English.This research first investigated and interviewed the learner who took Professional English for Educational Technology as an elective course in 2013. By analyzing the survey data and the results of interview, we summarize the advantages and shortages of Traditional teaching. Then we go deep into the characteristics and connotation of Blended Learning, and then summarize the property and teaching characteristics of Professional English for Educational Technology. We analyze the possibility of applying Blended Learning into this course. We analyze the theory and then find it is feasible to apply Blended Learning into this course. Nest the researcher design a Blended Learning plan of Professional English for Educational Technology course by combining the connotation of Blended Learning plan of Professional English, the property and characteristics of the course, demands of learner and learning environment and so on. The blended form includes learning activity, learning resource, learning environment and learning evaluation. Last we apply the plan of blended Learning into teaching the course in 2014 to proceeding empirical study.This research adopts literature method, questionnaire survey method and interview method. In the part of teaching practice, a detailed case is illustrated to explain the blended learning solution. At last, by comparing the achievements of learners in 2013 and 2014 and analyzing the application effect of the comprehensive ability cultivation of learners in 2014, a conclusion comes out that the blended learning can obviously promote the comprehensive application ability of learners, professional English, make up for the deficiency of the traditional classroom, enrich the teaching modes of the professional English for Educational Technology and promote the realization of the teaching goal.
