Athletic sports industry is the necessary outcome of market-oriented economy. Competitive sports socialization and industrialization is the key to its development. How to efficiently promote the development of athletic sports industry in Guang Xi Province is an important subject for Guang Xi Sports workers. This thesis devotes itself to athletic sports industry in Guang Xi, for the reform of athletic sports system must have correct guidance, but there are few theses that deal with athletic sports industry in Guang Xi. The operating mechanism about athletic sports industry at least contains management, investment, supervisory control making policy, stimulating, restraining and so on. The main factors affecting athletic sports industry are population, natural conditions, economic situation, government macro-control, society cultural and infrastructural facilities.The thesis analyses the current situation of factors which consist of the management system of Guang Xi athletic sports industry by means of interviews with experts and collecting relative materials. In Guang Xi the developing levels of main members joining in athletic sports industry are not balanced, according to the analysis, the number of athletics athletes in high level is small, the high-caliber sports managers are urgently needed, and then though in the athletics sports competitions of the recent 20 years of reform and openness many perfect performances have been got, the scores of predominant items are coming down recently. Because the average area of stadium fields occupied by each person in Guang Xi is smaller than in the whole country, fields and mansions for competitions are so limited that the massive sports meetings cannot be held .Furthermore ,the socialize reform about training bases is insufficient ,which is still mostly depending on budgetary allocations. The business of professional sports club in Guang Xi develops slowly ,and there is only a real one existing .The athletic sports show market has not been formed and audiences are short of consuming consciousness in it .The sports media is backward ,which cannot really establish mutual beneficial cooperation's connection with the local athletic sports competition organizations .The main problems of the development of athletic sports industry in Guang Xi are the following aspects .The economic grows slowly and its industrial set-ups is unreasonable. Athletic sports legislation, policy and incentive mechanism lag. The government function is misty and its concept is out of date .The sports consuming level is limited and the consciousness is weak, so that the stabilize athletics performance marketplace cannot be formed. The degree that sports is put to use in production is low, so sports have contributed nothing to Guang Xi GDP. The extent of athletic contest Professional is not high.
