The practice of the idea of the new curriculum in the chemisty teaching in middle schools is inseparable from the experimental teaching. Therefore,to adapt to the requirements of the new curriculum and the new teaching situation, we must strengthen the experimental teaching. Based on the analysis and the reseach of the current situation of the experimental teaching, the article analyzes the subjective and objective factors that affect and restrict the present middle school chemistry experimental teaching. The article studies and explains the new requirements and ideas in the experimental teaching brought by the Chemistry Curriculum standards of the junior and senior middle school. Then, with my own teaching practice ,the article focuses on discussing how to reinforce the experimental teaching through group experiments, demonstration experiments, research experiments and after-class interest experiments, so as to cultivate the students'awareness of involvement and their experimental ability, to train the students to create their awareness and ability to innovate, to raise the students'probing awareness, etc. The study of the subject is aimed at exploring, under the new curriculum background, how to strengthen the experimental teaching more effectively and give some advice on the practice of the new curriculum and the new teaching material.
