| Chemistry is a science based on experiments. Dai an bang once said "the experimental teaching of chemistry is an effective form to make the effective element of quality education in chemical subject." Chemical experiments have developed unique functions with rich connotation by chemical teaching. The reform of new courses emphasizes on the particular position and function of experiments in chemical teaching.Organic chemistry is an important part of the Senior School Chemistry . As a result, the organic chemistry experiments play an important role in helping the students grasp the chemical knowledge and training the students to gain the thinking ability. According to the chemistry curriculum criteria, the students are required to understand and grasp organic chemistry. In order to deal with the problems existing in teaching and take advantage of the instructive functions, the author conducts a survey from three aspects that is , the abilities of the students to understand the class presenting experiments to make experiments and to solve the exercises about experiments using the methods such as questionnaire, oral report, experimentation, interviewing and so on. The survey finds out that the teachers teaching methods also affect the function of the experiments. Based on the results of the teaching experiment, the thesis puts forward the teaching strategies for the organic chemistry experiments of senior high school.There can be many advantages by opening the lab. Make the students operate the principal part of the students. Instruct the students to master the scientific observational methods so as to develop the habit of putting observing and coordinating to learn comparison to promote the transference of knowledge from one aspect to another.
