It is one of the main ideas about the new curriculum to give each student a chance to develop and to inspire them to success. However, there are students with normal intelligence who have difficulties in learning chemistry in senior high schools due to the defect in their knowledge structure, study motivation and methods. The research of these students and their transformation is required not only by the reform of the new curriculum of chemistry, but also by chemistry teachers.The research points out the significance of transformation of the students with difficulties in learning chemistry by analyzing both the definition of study difficulty and past and present situation at home and abroad. In order to study the cause of difficulty in learning chemistry and find out solutions, six students are selected as objects through questionnaire and assessment of the current study situation. Then by interview and follow-up investigation, the cause is studied. Based on that, corresponding educational measures are taken, whose effects later are assessed.Different from any other researches, each student in the research is tutored individually according to their problems. Measures are taken in many aspects, such as study strategy, study motivation and psychological health, which are accurate and overall. The assessment takes not only the test results into consideration but also the non-testable evaluation, which evaluates the subjects in different aspects, such as the aspects of study interests, attitude, perseverance and cooperation which shows its concern about people and education.The results shows that the educational methods used in the research are effective as it helps in the transformation of the students with difficulty in learning chemistry and their development. Since this research is only focused on a few students, it needs further research to see whether it can be used in the others.
