The Curriculum For Master Of Pedagogy In America And The Reference To Us

Curriculum plays an important role in pedagogy graduate studies.On the base of a large volume of collected materials and documents and a detailed investigation, the thesis presents a comprehensive and an exhaustive analysis of the postgraduate curriculum provision of education major in the United States by using the methods of comparative studies and documentary studies. It is found in this thesis that postgraduate curriculum provision of education major in the United States has some features as follows:totalization of curriculum provision,elective system of curriculum provision,placing great emphasis on methodology and research approach of curriculum provision,and on the basic theory and pioneering of curriculum provision. Furthermore, the analysis includes goals,principles, structures,contents of curriculum provision in the United States .In term of the United States,the Curriculum provision is flexible and placing great emphasis on methodology and research approach .With the analysis of the postgraduate curriculum provision of education major in the United States,the author hope to provid some advices for the postgraduate curriculum provision of education major in China.
