The reform of geometry teaching has always been taking for hot point problem in mathematics educational research, which is called "precedence and focus of the past mathematics educational reform in junior high school many times". Plane geometry is a very important part in junior school mathematics , it is advantageous to the logical ability and interest of studying mathematics.With reforming in curriculum since 2001, the structure of the textbook has arisen biggish variety, the new textbook has been divided into four parts, they are number and algebra, space and graphics, statistics and probability, practice and synthesis. The past geometry system has been broken. The new textbook contents have been carried on increment and deletion, they emphasize the process of theorem and definition which were discovered, lower deduction process of its accuracy of the contents, strengthen the require of the reasonable deduction. What is the influence in the teaching fulfillment of the arrangement of new textbook? The new textbook emphasizes the training of practice and discovery ability, increases the contents about project study, but how is it in the teaching fulfillment?This paper is mainly divided into three parts. The first part includes literature review and document analyses, which presents basic theories about textbook, textbook structure , drawing up textbook and evaluation. The second part belongs to a comparison study article, Firstly I compare the geometry theories of the textbook at home and abroad, and of the domestic late and old textbook. Then I make use of a standpoint of system theory, carry on comparison from geometry textbook organization structure, layout structure, contents structure.During the comparison of contents structure, I choose two parts of the textbooks for examples, they are similar figures and circles. I compare the late textbook with the old from the knowledge structure diagram, concrete contents, theorem and definition, then I carry on analyzing and studying their differences. Then I give existent problems in actual teaching about these two parts of the new textbook.The third part is a conclusion article. After my comparison , analysis and practice, I give personal views on the fulfillment shortage of the new textbook(geometry parts) , suggestions of the revision of it ,and the problems of the further research, etc.
