The training objective of the secondary vocational education is to train billions of labors of high quality for our society. Presently, secondary vocational school students at school in China are more than 180,000,000, and this number has reached the biggest in the history. The graduates of the secondary vocational schools belong to a syndrome of young age and short of social experience. It is a new subject for the secondary vocational school educators to conduct employment education in order to construct a flawless employment guidance to promote good development of secondary vocational education. This thesis tends to have a premature probe into it theoretically and practically.The thesis has three parts.The first part introduces the basis of this topic and the meaning of this study, reviews the previous studies in this field abroad and at home, defines the related conceptions of employment guidance in secondary vocational schools, and presents the study train of thought and study methods.The second part analyzes the problems in employment guidance in secondary vocational schools in China currently which include unsound employment guidance organization, fewer employment guidance workers, imperfect employment guidance course system, backward employment guidance methods and improper employment guidance value system.The third part bases on the analysis of the current situation of employment guidance in secondary vocational schools in China, and presents the basic proposal of how to perfect it. Firstly, the author suggests to strengthen the employment guidance organization in secondary vocational schools which includes its definite staff members, clear work requirements, flawless job system and etc. Secondly, the number and qulity of the workers for employment guidance should be increased. For this aspect, the author gives her detailed thoughts. Thirdly, we need to perfect employment guidance course system which includes definite course ideology, rich course content, scientific course implement, that is, employment ideology and employment morality, business-starting guidance, employment guidance being three main courses, combining personality education, career education with them. Fourthly, we should perfect employment guidance network which includes employment guidance network on campus, the system of employment guidance network on campus and outside school and other schools. Fifthly, pay attention to the course of employment guidance.The author starts with the background of rapid development of vocational education, combines the basic theory of vocational technical pedagogy with the employment guidance experience, and adopts approaches such as Literature Review, Survey Research and Comparison Approach to make a study of this topic.
