With the development of computer technology and the wide use of computer, the integration of information technology and math becomes a hot topic in current math teaching field. New Curriculum standards states that the design and application of math curriculum should attach great importance to the employment of modern information technology. But, how to apply computer to the classroom math teaching deserves further study.In Chapter One "Proposing Problem", the current situation of math teaching is analyzed, that is, the textbook knowledge is emphasized while the practice is ignored, the computer-aided teaching is limited to form. Also, based on the contrast of textbook reform in middle school math teaching, the author suggests increasing the application of computer in class-room math teaching and combining the application of computer with math teaching, improving the students' learning habit and teachers' teaching method, cultivating the students' application awareness, , arousing their interest of learning mathematics, thus improving learning efficiency and teaching results.In Chaper Two "the Importance of Computer-aided math teaching" , in terms of the relationship between math and computer, the relevant software resource is introduced and the importance of computer-assisted math teaching is illustrated. There are five advantages: 1. creating situation to arouse the students' interest; 2. optimizing the classroom teaching structure to improve the teaching efficiency; 3. making abstractness vivid to highlight important points; 4. constructing math experiment to cultivate the students' advanced thought; 5. establishing new teacher-student relationship to realize the change of mode.Chapter Three is about the theoretical explanation of computer-aided teaching. This is the theoretical basis of the whole thesis.Chapter Four is "An Inquiry to Computer-aided Mathematics Teaching in Middle School", I probe into a mathematical software "Geometer's Sketchpad," commonly used programming language and related software support in mathematics teaching in secondary advantages and applications; And also of recent years, various examinations in computer and math test combination of the current trends and common computer applications of mathematics in two forms,. This is the shining point of the thesis and aslo the accumulation of the author's teaching experience.In Chapter Five, two classroom examples of computer-assisted math teaching are provided as reference of teaching activity, this the practical basis.Finally in Chapter Six "Suggestions and Outlook", the author suggests that we should strengthen research of computer-assisted math teaching, and promote the universal employment of computer-aided teaching in depth. What's more, the items which should be paid attention to and the direction of research are proposed.
