With the new round of basic education curriculum reform going in depth, China's basic education is at an important period of change and transition. High school history textbook is a vector to spread historical knowledge to high school students, and the preparation of which catches more and more attention of history educators. Renjiaoban high school history textbook is one representative of so many editions since reform and opening up. The research of its evolution and development has important practical significance for designing the teaching contents of history teachers, for mobilizing students to participate in teaching activities, for enhancing students' enthusiasm of history learning, as well as practicing comprehensively"people-oriented"education idea. It also helps to promote the implementation of quality-education, enrich the basic theories of history teaching and provide recommendations for reference to the preparation of new textbooks.This thesis is divided into four parts.The first part is the introduction, including the related concept of the definition, the background, the present situation, the significance of this research as well as the guiding idealogy and methods.The second part is the main theory. In this part, analyzing the evolution and development of Renjiaoban high school history textbooks since reform and opening up. Including the editing situation of textbook, the changes of the guiding idealogy,content,style and structure, and characteristics of the preparation of the existing Renjiaoban textbooks, etc.The third part is the prospect for the history textbook of the future. In this part, it points out shortcomings of Renjiaoban high school history textbook of 2007 and describes the blueprint of ideal high school history textbook.The forth part is the conclusion. In this part, the main findings of research is summarized briefly, the author's main points of view are carded.
