Objective: Test the constitution indext of the old aged in Putuo region in Shanghai, China. Some take taichichuan exercise, some take other exercise, and some never token any exercise. Compare the result of the test, and analse the characteristics of the result, and expatiate the effects of taichichuan exercise on constitution and health state in old aged. Confer the physiological mechanism of the positive effects to instruct the old aged to choose feasible exercise to improve the constitution and health state, and confer them to deal with the relation between exercise quantity and sports intensity to phythmically arrange the burthen of exercise, and arrange the exercise quantity accroding to the time. Concequantly to improve the synthesis diathesis of the old aged, and to resist canducity.Methods: Documentary Method; Measure the Constitution; Investigate Questionnaire; Compare Methed; Stat. DataResults:1,constitution and health state of observed group are better than compared group I and compared group II .The results of WHR, sit-and-reach, eye closed in observed group are better than compared group II distinctly in male old aged. The results of eye closed in group I are better than compared group II distinctly.The results of hoice reaction time in observed group are better than compared group II distinctly and group I are better than compared group II distinctly.2,The result of Psychology, life habit consciousness of sports and exercise practice in observed group are better than compared group I and compared group II.3,In investigation of chronic percentage of chronic is the lowest in observed group. Compareing own recover percentage is the highest in observed group.4,observed group and compared group I have not obvious difference in griping strength, systolic pressure, diastolic pressure, but observed group and group I are better than compared group II in griping strength, systolic pressure, diastolic pressure.5,percentage of smoke and potation are the least and the sleeping time is the longest in observed group.Conclusions:1,Regularly to take taichichuan exercise for a long time can reduce the fat on ventral, improve the extend and elasticity of arthrosis, and improve the ligament and muscle of trunk, waist, coxa, and so on. At the same time, regularly to take taichichuan exercise for a long time can improve the abilities of balance, sense, vision and feeling of reality.2,Regularly to take taichichuan exercise for a long time really take good psychology and good life habit.Lack of the consciousness of sports can effect the exercise practice.3,Regularly to take taichichuan exercise for a long timecan do spots cure domino offect on chronic.
