Objective:This article focus on Wuqinxi which on behalf of the traditional sports and Ping pang which on behalf of the competitive sports.The college student who participates in two kinds of the two sports is selected to measure body mass index and sleep state at the beginning and the end.Comparing the numerical,we can obtain which sport is better for us,And we find a movement to help more physical fitness and sleep.In this way,We can provide a theoretical basis for the traditional works on behalf of Wuqinxi and sports for Ping pang to guide the fitness.Method:The object of study is from Guangxi University of traditional Chinese Medicine's 102 students of sophomore,there are 52 students to participate in Wuqinxi exercises,including 24 male students and 28 female students;There are 50 students paticipating in Ping pang,including 26 male and 24 female.Physical fitness test is carried out before the experiment and filled in the physical test table and Pittsburgh sleep index table(PSQI)scale.The Wuqinxi group of three people and the Ping pang group of two people who are more than the average number of three standard deviation is excluded,the others obey the normal distribution.Wuqinxi and Ping pang on the physical fitness and sleeping of students have a test of meant value of two independent samples before practice,the physical fitness and sleeping of students do not have significant differences.Teachers who have many years of experience teach teach Wuqinxi and Ping pang.Students who did not participate in the exercise less than five times were excluded.As last,there are 20 males and 25 females in the experimental approach of Wuqinxi,and there are 23 males and 25 females in the Ping pang experimental approach.Results :Physical indicators:Wuqinxi indicates a significant no difference for the body mass index and body antexion of male student(P <0.05),which indicates a very significant difference for the vital capacity of male student(P <0.01);Wuqinxi indicates a significant difference for standing long jump and sit ups of female student(P <0.05),which indicates a very significant difference for the vital capacity of female student(P <0.01).Ping pang indicates a significant difference for the body mass index,standing long jum and 1000 metres of male student(P <0.05),which indicates a very significant difference for 50 metres of male student(P <0.01);It indicates a significant difference for the body mass index and 800 metres of female student(P <0.05),which indicates a very significant difference for 50 metres of female student(P <0.01).The Pittsburgh sleep quality aspects:Wuqinxi indicates a significant difference for sleep quality of male student(P <0.05),which indicates a very significant difference for the vital capacity of female student(P <0.01);It indicates a significant difference for sleep disorder and sleep quality of female student,which indicates a very significant difference for the sleep scores of female student(P <0.01).Ping pang indicates a significant difference for sleep disorder and Daytime Dysfunction of male student(P <0.05),which indicates a very significant difference for sleeping scores of male student(P <0.01);It indicates a significant difference for the sleep quality and Daytime Dysfunction(P <0.05),which indicates a very significant difference for the sleep scores of female student.However,there is no significant difference between the two projects.Conclusion:1.After 12 weeks of Wuqinxi and Ping pang exercise,the physical fitness index,physical quality and sleep quality of College student is improved.2.Wuqinxi and Ping pang indicates different advantages.By practicing Wuqinxi,the BMI and body antexion of male student indicates a significant improvement,the standing long jump and sleep disorder of female student indicates a significant improvement;By practicing Ping pang,the standing long jump,50 metres and sleep disorder of male student indicates a significant improvement,the body antexion and sleep quality of female student have a significant improvement.3.There is a more significant improvement between Wuqinxi and Ping pang in the vital capacity of male student;Ping pang have a more significant improvement than Wuqinxi for the 50 metres of male student;There is no significant difference to the physical indicators and sleep state of female student.
