With the development of the society, the occupation of university tutors has gained common concern from top to bottom level, from decision-makers to researchers and practitioners; however, the research on occupational experience of young tutors in universities is comparatively short. This research dissertation breaks the silent condition of young tutors in universities and makes an effort to observe the occupational experience of young tutors in universities in a multi-disciplinary, multi-angle of view and multifactor way. The basic question that this research dissertation focuses on is: what is the occupational experience of young tutors in universities during their current career life?It is a qualitative research dissertation, which makes a depth interview and observation with twelve professional tutors, some students, related supervisors and colleagues in eight universities in Anhui province and Shanghai city. The method of literature research is also applied. The main part of this dissertation displays two cases of young tutors in turn, truly presenting the real condition of their career life, and the relevant theories have been applied to analyze the factors that influence their occupational experience in details; furthermore, it generalizes the main characteristics of their occupational experience and the issue of their further development. The method of presenting the result is mainly situation-based and combined with generic type.On the base of description and analysis for the two cases of university tutors, this research also analyzes and generalizes the problems existed in tutor system and makes some suggestions on tutor group construction. In the end, it introspects the deficient part of this research and delivers the expectation for future studies.This dissertation comprises three parts:The first part is chapter I, mainly including the origin, significance of research, literature review, the problems, process and method of researching.The second part is chapter II and chapter III, main body of this dissertation, describing and analyzing the condition and influential factors of occupational experience of two typical young tutors in universities. The third part is chapter IV, the part of conclusion and introspection, generalizing the condition and influential factors of occupational experience of young tutors in universities, analyzing the problems existed in tutor system, concluding the reasons of these problems, making suggestions, introspecting the whole process of research and delivering the expectation for future studies.
