Studies On The Problems Of Misconduct In Colleges And Universities Teachers' Academic Papers

The academic paper, as one of the final expressive forms of academic study activities for the academic researchers, plays a more and more important role in the academic circle, especially in colleges and universities. In China's recent years' higher educational system, academic misconduct and its damage to our country's academic undertakings caused by the imperfect academic regulations has been drawing the attention to both the academic world and public society. Thus the voice to improve the academic standard and optimize the academic research environment is getting more and more powerful. This paper makes a deeper study of the standard loss of China's college teachers' academic papers by adopting such methods as documentary study and case study.Starting from the basic process of publishing college teachers' academic papers, this paper not only discusses both the categories and perniciousness of academic misconduct of college teachers' academic papers but also analyzes its causes from the perspective of an editor of the college journal, so that this paper advances some countermeasures and suggestions to prevent academic misconduct of college teachers' academic papers on the basis of investigating American successful experience of checking academic misconduct.This paper argues that the academic misconduct is the consequence comprehensively resulted from such factors as the system, society, culture and the teacher himself. The imperfect academic regulations is the fundamental cause of the academic misconduct of college teachers' papers while the lack of academic researchers' scientific spirit is the inner cause to result in the academic misconduct of college teachers' papers. The week academic punishment and the restriction of college administrative power are the important cause to spread the academic misconduct. The influence of traditional culture is the cultural cause to result in the academic misconduct while the pursuit of economic interest is one of the important factors to cause academic misconduct. In view of this, this paper advances some effective countermeasures and suggestions to check the academic misconduct of college teachers' papers by adopting such measures as formulating a complete set of academic regulations, strengthening the responsibility of academic periodicals, establishing the mechanism of severe punishment, improving the academic critical system and enhancing academic moral education, and so on so forth.
