With the further deepening of reform and opening-up, our country is now in the change of society pattern from traditional to modern. During the time, the national economy industrial system and pillar industries have grown a lot, the quick rise of township enterprises and the transforming of a large number of surplus rural labor to non-agricultral industries, formed many groups of migrant workers. With their own villages and urban development, the rural population flow not only between urban and rural areas, but also from less-developed township to more developed ones. And the flow is getting more significant each day. Migrant workers, mostly young people, either at the age of spouse-selection, or those have just walked into marriage, are facing the responsibilities of maintaining or developing their new families. Further, coupled with the inflow to the new community is facing many difficulties of re-socialization, their highlighted the marriage issues, and they have become one of the hot issues of concern in the area of family socialogical research..The author made the research on migrant workers from a more developed town T, which is in the southern part of Jiangsu province, collected research data by using self-administered questionnaire of investigation and study, and made quantitative analysis on the spouse-selection issues of migrant workers by using SPSS statistics software, based on the multilayer theory frame which is made up of the three aspect-ssociety, families and individuals. First of all, to show the patterns and features of migrant workers' spouse-selection by descriptive analysis and interactive analysis from four dimensions of spouse-selection: motive, standard, mode, and time. Then, the author analyzed the relevant factors that affact spouse-selection mode through logistic regression and multiple linear regression. The result indicates that, the spouse-selection mode of town migrant workers has demonstrated the modern transition from 'family-based' to 'personal-based'. The spouse-selection mode is affected by the integrated factors such as personal factors, family, experiences of flow and so on. Among the 12 factors inspected, age, income, years of migrant working, working experience and the education level of the mothers have significant influences.
