Creative education is a kind of education idea that takes training creative spirit and inventive capacity as fundamental values. It is worthy of being concentrated on the orientation of creative education for its healthy development.This thesis dips into the ultimate orientation of our creative education in higher education proceeding from the basic concepts of creative education, laying equal stress on the science education and the humanity education.I consider that American or China is to pay attention to the creative engineering education during the early developing stage of creative education. Its characteristics are to emphasize on creative techniques in course system, course structure and on the level of material production in the evaluation. All these tend toward "creating specific matters" which play important role in improving the inventive capacity, promoting new technique,new products and new service. However, excessive pursuit in "creating specific matters" may lead to overlook the humanity spirit.During the development of creative education, the scholars in our country advocates "shaping oneself in creative education by thinking about pursuit in "creating specific matters" and descending from "shaping oneself in our traditional culture. That's clearly a progress to keep and develop our traditional culture, then treat "building creative personality" as the key target of creative education.Developing creative education need not only pursuit in "creating specific matters" and anticipation on "shaping oneself but also the blending of them. Blending "shaping oneself with "creating specific matters" should become ultimate pursuit of our creative education. It is not simple combination, but the realization in creative engineering education as well as creative personality education.
