In recent years, the problem of children's education there is more and more serious owing to the fact that more and more parents left to cities for jobs. The author of the present study, a teacher of one of the junior middle schools (the NO. 3 middle school in Nayong county), is familiar with the siatuations and thus can get the first-hand information on this problem. Therefore, this paper is a study on this problem with such children in the NO. 3 middle school in Nayong as the research object. Methods such as literature review, research questionnaire, observation and interview are adopted in this paper to explore the deep reasons for this phenomenon and construct a new system for the pedagogy of Chinese theoretically. Undoubtedly, this problem is in nature a social problem, which needs the cooperation of the society, school and family to create a good environment for children's education.The thesis is composed of four parts.The first part is the introduction. It provides the establishment of this problem and the research foundations as well as the significance of the present study on the basis of making literature review home and abroad and then newly defining the children that need stay to take care. This part forms a clear picture for the paper on its basic structure and framework.The second part provides the research design and research participants by observing and analyzing these children's adaptive capacity in the class of Chinese. And the author attempts to probe the key reasons for this problem from the viewpoint of the pedagogy of Chinese.The third part provides the preliminary sketch of a new system for Chinese pedagogy. In this sketch, the author suggests that the development of life-friendly teaching materials with native features and the establishment of diversified pedagogic goals as well as the multiplicity of the assessment on Chinese pedagogy should be required to foster the better development of the children.The fourth part provides some other social solutions for this problem, in which the author appeals that joint efforts should be made to create a good educational environment for children that need stay to take care so that they can grow up sturdily and optimistically.
