Promoting the development of compulsory education in urban and rural areas is an important part of promoting the economic and social development of urban and rural areas as a whole.It is also the inevitable requirement of promoting the concept of harmonious and shared development of society.At present,in the process of promoting the development of compulsory education in urban and rural areas,the disharmonious and differentiated development is more and more obvious.There are some abnormal phenomena,such as the sky-high school district house,sky-high school selection fee and aristocratic tutoring class fever and so on.The reason for this phenomenon is the scarcity of high-quality education resources and the uneven development of education in urban and rural areas.This brings difficulties to the development of education.At present,the education in the urban and rural areas is uneven,especially in the art education in urban and rural primary schools.In order to realize the coordinated and balanced development of art education in urban and rural primary schools,art education must be fully integrated into the overall development.We should strive to narrow the gap of art education between urban and rural areas,promote the balanced development of art education in urban and rural areas and cultivate students' aesthetic ability.This paper chooses the development of arts education in urban and rural primary schools in Nayong County,Guizhou Province as an example,and provides reference for promoting and optimizing the development of arts education in urban and rural primary schools.This paper uses the methods of literature,questionnaire and semi-structured interviews to conduct field investigation on the present situation of the development of arts education in rural primary schools in Nayong County.Meanwhile,this paper uses the method of combining quantitative analysis and descriptive research to analyze the factors of affecting the development of arts education in urban and rural primary schools in Nayong County.What's more,the paper uses the contrastive way to highlight the present situation of the development of arts education in urban and rural primary schools.Through in-depth thinking,this paper puts forward targeted countermeasures and suggestions at last.
