Cooperation behavior, one of important ingredients of prosocial behavior, affects present psychological activities as well as future society accommodation. In infancy period, cooperation behavior is showed authentically in games. Temperament, one kind of obvious but stable personality character, is appeared on earliest stage of children. Temperament is regarded as the motivation of man's psychological activity and at the same time peculiarity and conditionality are two functional characters of psychological activity. That's why the writher picks up temperament as the chief influencing factor to study in children cooperation. Both natural observation and questionnaire methods are adopted to study children cooperation behaviors. The writer made the whole class research in Kindergarten of Inner Mongolia Normal University and BaoTou New Century National Kindergarten. 162 Children, of six classes, Primary, secondary and senior classes, were observed and experimented. For obtaining authentic experiment data, children are observed in games.Based on reference of document and writer's live working experience in kindergarten, he plotted Observation Table of Children Cooperation Behavior and classified cooperation behaviors into four dimensions, initiative and passivity of cooperation, trailblazing of cooperation, persistence of cooperation and purpose of cooperation. Parent Temperament Questionnaire, PTQ, (NYLS Children Temperament Questionnaire) is revised and standardized by Zhang Yuqing, professor of Psychology Institute of Chinese Academy of Sciences. Zhang Yuqing determined nine dimensions (activity level, rhythmcity, approaching or withdrawing, adaptability, threshold of responsiveness, intensity of reaction, quality of mood, distractibility and attention span and persistence) to survey children temperament.Study shows:(1) The number of children who cooperated initiatively is the largest, with 91 children (of 56.2%), the number of children who cooperated neutrally is the second largest, with 41 children (of 25.3%), and the number of children who cooperated passively is the least, with 30 children (of 18.5%).(2) Dimensions of children cooperation behavior have no significant gender differences. With increase of age, the score of initiative cooperation is increasing too. Besides, it is approved the older the children are, the longer they can insist in games. Age difference appears in both initiative and persistence of cooperation.(3) Different dimensions are showed differently in three cooperation behaviors. Initiative cooperation scores higher than neutral and passive co operations in terms of trailblazing of cooperation, while initiative cooperation also scores higher than passive cooperation in terms of persistence of cooperation.(4) Different cooperation types perform differently in different temperament dimensions. It is proved that children of initiative cooperation score higher than that of passive cooperation in terms of approaching or withdrawing, adaptability and persistence dimensions. In terms of persistence dimension, children of initiative cooperation score higher than that of neutral cooperation.(5) There are relations between temperament and cooperation behavior. Rhythmicity and adaptability forecast the initiative of cooperation; activity level forecasts the trailblazing of cooperation; quality of mood and insistence forecast the persistence of cooperation and insistence forecasts the purpose of cooperation.
