Since the Ministry of Education promulgated the "full-time education mathematics course standards (trial version) in July 2001," many kinds of mathematical experimental teaching materials have been transformed according to the course standard. The mathematics teaching materials in Junior High School of Beijing Normal University and East China Normal University Press Publisher are first through the Ministry of Education review, and the first to be a nationwide experiment.In this paper, the research objects are the new mathematical experiment materials (the first book in Grade Seven) which are published by the Beijing Normal University and East China Normal University Press, the present educational policy is the starting point, "mathematics course standards," is the main basis, having a detailed comparison and analysis according to the basic mathematical concepts, preparation of structure, examples and exercises, the way of presentation of the experimental materials, reviewing the pros and cons of new materials, giving proposals on the new materials reform, to help the majority of teachers and students in the reference.The article is divided into three sections. The first part is the introduction, including issues raised and the significance of the study, research methods, pointing out the textbook research status from theoretical research and the comparison of the basic education teaching materials; The second part is part of the core, it's analysis and evaluation from the knowledge structure and characteristics about the two main versions of the materials ;The third part is the conclusion of the comparison and study, including the advice on changing and using about two experimental revisions of the textbooks .After investigating and analyzing , the main advantages of BJNU-edition teaching materials are: it is full of interesting pictures through the text, arrangement was new, and language expression is suitable for students, provide opportunities to think and communicate for students , encourage students to explore independently and have cooperation and exchanges; Choose appropriate materials, the creation of the problem situation has rich themes, reflects the demands of the times; pay attention to the modern information technology ,as a part of the scientific calculators, have an effective influence on changing the way of learning and exploring for the students; reflected the basic concepts of "Compulsory Education course standards", pay more attention to the interest and development .The problems need to be discussed as follows: the requirements for basic computing and basic skills for the number, formula, equation are slightly inadequate; a few issues and scenarios are so difficult and complex that they weaken the theme of the mathematics; the big jump of the knowledge ; little practice, the training is not enough.The main advantages of ECNU-edition experimental teaching materials are: Each chapter and each relatively has clear purpose of teaching, it's easier to grasp the teaching requirements; the statements of the basic concept is more stringent interpretation, it's easier to implement the basis of knowledge, basic skills. providing different degrees of the exercises, application problems, explored problems and open problems, for the students who have varying degrees to choose; innovative forms of the content is creative, explore the creation of autonomous learning scenarios and opportunities for students; concise words, illustrated; reflected the basic concepts of "Compulsory Education course standards" better, highlight the basic, universal and developmental principles.The problems need to be discussed as follows: It should strengthen its strictness and science; topic focused on cities and the South; some of the issues involved in the design of the narrow issue of scenarios, and interest is not enough; textbooks show form is not beautiful enough.Generally speaking, these two materials are both embodied on the preparation of teaching materials requirements in the "math course standards", they have features in the structure ,architecture and content with reference. Teachers should be identified in the teaching of the use of materials, it's necessary to re-design the teaching materials according to the original knowledge base of the students, the psychological characteristics and individual differences in the content of teaching. the necessary re-engineering.
